2006 STARTS THIS SUNDAY For the William Hall Motorsport team, this weekend’s final round of the West Australian Formula Ford season marks the beginning of their 2006 campaign.
With a trying series almost behind him, William Hall is looking to go out with a good result in this weekends final round, making a few changes to his Spectrum 06 chassis before this weekends round.
"We have made some quite significant suspension changes to the car for this weekend in an attempt to build some data before next season. We will be doing a full end of season rebuild on the car starting next Monday, so its really important for us to gain some knowledge of the cars new behaviour before we do that."
"We also hope its a bit faster!"
In another move, the team announced that William won't be competing in Western Australia next season.
"We have announced today that we will be competing in next years Victorian Formula Ford Championship which is very exciting for us," William said today.
"We are in the process of putting the finishing touches to next year’s campaign and we hope to be making an announcement on that very shortly."
"We last competed over there in 2003 where we were consistently inside the top ten, so next year with our revised Spectrum chassis we hope to be very competitive."
"We are also very please to be keeping Net Velocity's support for season 06."
This weekend’s final round of the championship will consist of 3 races, starting on Friday with free practice and qualifying and three races on Sunday 18 September.
